1 John 5:15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

At C3 SYD, we believe in the power of prayer.

When you receive Christ, we enter into a personal relationship with God. We’re able to come to him with our prayers and know that he listens and cares for us. What is prayer? It’s talking to God, simple as that.

Jesus encourages us to pray boldly and with faith. Prayer changes things, and in every situation, we are able to come to God through prayer, for help and guidance. Pray with faith. Believe what God says and believe you will receive what you ask. Jesus said you only need a mustard seed of faith. Start small if you need to, remember the miracles in the Bible, remember any answered prayer you've seen or experienced. Apply these to what you are praying about, stir up your spirit. The God who created the universe has promised to hear and answer you.

When you are worried, pray for peace. When you are sick, gather together with others and pray together for healing. You can talk to God at all times and in all circumstances. There's no limit. He is always there for you.

So How Do We Pray?

Even the disciples wanted to learn to pray. Jesus answered them simply, guiding them into relationship with their Father in heaven. Prayer is a conversation between you and God. Nothing more, nothing less.
